What’s a DSD test drive? Digital smile design is a powerful digital technology that allows us to test drive ideal smiles custom made for each person before starting any treatment. The process of doing a test drive begins with the dentist obtaining a series of detailed photos, videos, and scans. THe face is super important in the process of digital smile design as every smile created needs to fit harmoniously within the face and not just while you’re smiling. Cutting edge technology is then used to measure, analyze your face and design a smile that’s personalized to you. This vision of your smile is then printed in 3D and through the use of a customized mold we overlay this design onto your existing teeth allowing you to wear the smile mock up. We then sit down and analyze the smile together to co-author your smile.
