Dr Kat Marhfour is a cosmetic dentist who combines a passion for designing smiles, with a compassionate, people-centred approach. Her childhood pastime of drawing and sketching found an unexpected outlet in the world of dentistry, where Dr Kat uses the latest 3D technology, Digital Smile Design (DSD), Veneers, Teeth whitening and Invisalign to craft smiles.
A qualified dentist for over 17 years, Dr Kat practiced for 7-years at Melbourne’s Smile Solutions, Australia’s largest boutique dental clinic in Melbourne’s CBD after graduating with Honours from Melbourne University. She spent several years in regional Queensland, before moving to Brisbane to open her own dental practice in Alderley.
The best part of her day is often the ‘smile reveal’. Coming after weeks or months of bespoke and dedicated treatment, introducing her patients to their new, dazzling smiles is an emotional, rewarding experience.
When not working on smiles, she enjoys living a holistic lifestyle including meditation and breathwork, exercise and long walks in nature. Visiting art galleries is also a favourite pastime of Dr Kat. She also loves spending quality time with her two vivacious children, exploring nature and making indelible memories.
