How does my smile and appearance affect peoples perception of me?

It’s crazy how much our appearance and our smile affects people’s perception of us. Our smiles have a tremendous impact on not just our perception of how attractive someone is but also their personality. As found by 2007 study conducted by Dr. Ann Beal. Numerous psychological studies before that had already shown that attractive people are perceived as more successful, intelligent, and friendly. This study, along with others extended these findings by demonstrating that teeth alone play an integral part in our assessment of attractiveness and personality traits. Not only are people with cosmetically pleasing smiles judged as being more attractive and intelligent but they were perceived to be happy, kind, wealthy, and popular with the opposite sex.
