Dr Kat story

When I was young, I loved art. I spent so much time drawing and sketching. Funnily enough, I used to draw faces a lot. I take photos from magazines and copy them. Little did I know that when I would graduate as a fully fledged dentist I would naturally gravitate to a field of dentistry that requires an eye and a knack for these things. However, what keeps my passion flowing and growing for cosmetic dentistry after 17 years of practice is more than the detail or the craft. It’s more the impact it has on people’s lives. Nothing I do in dentistry is as fulfilling as giving my beautiful patients the ability and confidence to smile again. I cherish the moments when I do smile reveals. Patients often get very emotional during these appointments and I too get choked up seeing them at their very best.
